Surrendered to the power and force of nature
that you are
For just a few more minutes to observe
how your body shifted and moved
how the morning dew glistened off your brownness
how you canvassed the terrain with your nose
how you held me in your presence with those curious eyes.
Longing
to bury myself
in your wildness.
