SuperNova II
Heart’s in Nova Scotia. Beautiful place. Witty and engaging people. Rich history. Made new friends that felt as warm and comfy as a fisherman’s worn sweater. They’re leaving a key for me underneath the mat, come join me next winter!

SuperNova
“My soul is full of longing
for the secret of the sea,
and the heart of the great ocean
sends a thrilling pulse through me.”
― Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Heading to Nova Scotia tomorrow! Traveling the breadth of Canada. Absolutely bonkers over the thought of exploring this beautiful landscape. Have a great weekend and I’ll catch you on the other side :).
Human Progress & The Fulfilled Life
Interesting questions to ponder:
- What is the most important measure of human progress?
- What does it mean to live a fulfilled life?
- Who or what inspires you?
- How did you become the creative person you are today?
My responses?
- The most important measure of human progress is empathy. A piece on measuring empathy here.
- Living a fulfilled life means having an intimate understanding of what makes your heart tango and the courage to dance (often solo).
- I’m inspired by failure, rejection, heartbreak, and those that overcome adversity.
- My creativity emanates from engaging in activities that challenge and stimulate my noodle.
Celebrating Pi & Vi
I’m good with another day to celebrate. Go Vi!
Recludere
“There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more”
― George Gordon Byron
Yes! I love Nature more. Have a wonderful weekend folks!
Keeping the Loom Happy
Ontological design. What we design in turn designs us. Handmade products offer such a difference in quality and feel. Her hands weave the yarn. His ideas form the clay. Her hopes brush the paint. Make something that is a part of you and share it with the world :).
Impatience
Heard this on the radio while on my way to gym. Had to share. Love Yukon Gold (the band and potatoes!).
Bringing the World to Life
Every morning I search for somebody or body of work that inspires me. Greg Ruth…you are amazing!

Even in the Hood…
I recall watching this documentary on former Love Boat cast and Gopher explained that he doesn’t eat anything with eyes or a mother. Now that I think about his statement, I wonder if that includes potatoes. How do you make the argument for veganism?
