Bell Rock Lighthouse
Slope, curve and horizontal dovetailing. The design and construction of Bell Rock Lighthouse (Angus, Scotland) is absolutely fascinating. Built by engineer Robert Stevenson from 1807-1810, it stands as the “world’s oldest surviving sea-washed lighthouse.” On the bucket list to see!

Looking In…
I’ve always been fascinated by miniature houses. After watching Doyle’s explanation of his work, I think my pleasure derives from the process of constructing a narrative for the characters and their setting.
