Guaranteed I would need bed rails to pull this off but it sure looks dreamy :). I think I would’ve also wrapped the rope on the inside of the right leg as they did on the left. And if a gust comes up from the bottom, he’s toast. Speaking of toast. A small microwave would be optimal for heating coffee in the morning. Colourful Christmas lights strung down the ropes might be a nice addition as well. Ah home sweet home.

This afternoon I met artist Andy Anissimoff while at the Squamish Sunday Farmer’s Market. There’s a fantastic energy in his paintings. His brushstrokes are strong and bold. He captures everything that I love about hiking from peak to creek. Pop by the Tantalus Art Galley in Squamish to view more of his work. I had to pick up this beautiful print of The Chief (pictured above). I also grabbed another print of a bear. One day, I’ll own an original!
