Ultra
Congratulations to my best friend (for over 30 years!), Steve Orsini, for recently completing an ultra-triathlon! What is an ultra-triathlon? Simply, it’s an event restricted to the Gods & Goddesses. He swam the length of 7 seas, biked around the world, and ran to the moon and back. And it only took him 58 hours (including 1 hour of sleep)! Amazing and so proud of you!
Hibernation
Speaking of bears! Here are two of my favourites. Sweet dreams Grinder and Coola.

Consistency
Build relationships via consistency…through the little reminders that let people know that you care for them, that you are thinking of them, and that you want them to have the best. #BuildingGreatCulture
Remembrance
he abandoned ship to join a war
hope he’s victorious

EPIC
Sending love to surfer Andrew Cotton! Wishing you a speedy recovery. To all big wave riders, please remember to wear your inflatable vests! XO!
Point
Dare
Dare to Create
Write what you dare not write
create what you dare not create
the places hidden in your bones
where longing and aches reside
and your dreams long to arrive
to be massaged to birth
Throw your critic out
let it reach far into the recycling bin
where it transforms to compost
for the wonder of your own stories
honour your tears, joys and disappointments
only mourn for not showing up
for your deep beautiful life
where health and wholeness
celebrate each thread of life
Listen to the impulses of your fingers
the agitation in your feet
and spread wide your toes
to touch the ground and sky
the garment of your own yearning
This is yoga toes for writing
living, breathing into the unknown
Let your discomfort
be a sign that you are going
where you have not gone
an all inclusive to what is possible
with your unique narrative
Show compassion towards yourself
so fall free to the winter
of your own passage
and know you are called
to only be real to whom you are
This alone is enough.

For the HEAL cohort November 2017
I have been incredibly fortunate to work with such brilliant minds at Simon Fraser University. Thank you Dr. Snowber for composing this beautiful piece that encapsulates the student experience.
Collaboration
“Maker spaces in educational settings help students learn how to work together, support one another, and bridge different disciplines when it comes to solving problems. Student makers may work on their own, but the opportunity to collaborate with new people, forge connections and develop new ideas together are key pathways to producing creative, viable solutions.” More on Designing Creative Collaboration School Spaces via Colorado Real Estate Journal #MakerSpaces #Collaboration
Rather
1. This is tough. I’m going to say live wearing wet jeans for 6 months.
2. Big blue wig for sure!
3. Well… 🙂
4. I’d rather lose my life’s work. Sometimes you need an editor.
Now you boo!
